Influenced by genres like Soul, Disco, Pop, Rock, Rob Manga found his passion for soulful tunes at an early age. In 1992 he was invited to Amsterdam's first and later most successful HipHop/R&B-Party called Bassline which started in the legendary venue The Roxy, moved to the The Soul Kitchen, then moved to Melkweg and eventually found home at the Paradiso.
As Manga became more influential, he started organizing his own events, such as LEGENDS, appreciated as the best Soul-Party in Amsterdam and presents a unique form of an audiovisual event that combines every type of soul-music while showing their videos during a 5-hour-solo-set played by Manga himself and vj Supreme Cuisine.
